What’s new in version 1.40

Many users had requested the ability to sort their items by Locations. New in this version, your locations are automatically created and grouped by the location name. You can also press the Locations button in the bottom Tab Bar to view a selected location or all locations.

Device Tracker 1.3.1 released.

The new version of Device Tracker, an update to the app iT Guy Technologies released in November 2010, helps you keep track of information on multiple devices by centralizing everything in one place. You can export and import any of the information records between your iPhone and your iPad using iTunes or email.

“It’s a handy tool for today’s professional IT guy,” says Tim Mitra, President of iT-Guy Technologies. “We actually launched it last year, but we’ve recently updated it and improved its usability,” he adds.

Describing it as a portable mini inventory system, Mitra says it can be re-skinned to keep track of any items – a wine collection, comic books or even commemorative spoons.
